Dia em Londres...

Não é que eu não vá todos os dias ( que vou porque trabalho em Londres), mas com a família é sempre mais giro!

Passamos a tarde com amigos, a celebrar mais um aniversário, no dia em que há 1 ano atrás era suposto ser o dia que a minha querida filha iria ver a luz do dia...não foi, foi 10 dias depois!

Compramos algumas coisinhas, comemos, bebemos e rimos, foi um dia bem passado, entre família e amigos que é como se quer...

Londres já não é o que era...

Não sei se serei eu mas, quando fui a Londres na quarta-feira, não me soube nada ao mesmo...sei lá, ok eu vivi lá quase três anos e acho que isso contribuiu bastante para a perda do encanto, mas Londres tinha uma "vibe" com a qual eu me identificava muito e na 4a não achei! 

De repente só me apetecia fugir dali...um colega meu perguntou-me " so Nessi, how's London? E a minha resposta foi CROWDED! 

Londres para mim agora é familiar, sei como ir a todo o lado a pé, por ruas e ruelas, não me sinto perdida nem intimidada pela cidade grande...não, de todo, Londres é assim uma espécie de casa!

Muito em breve estaremos de volta a Londres, e eu estarei de volta ao trabalho...uma nova fase, outra!

Enfim, bring it on!

ai ai London...

it's bank holiday weekend...the last one until Xmas! and, I woke up and despite being in London ( a city that has all kinds of entertainment) i can't bring myself to think of something nice, something effortless...

What's going on with me????

Weather...

They promised me 25 C and I wake up to 15??? What is it, the sun is shy??

Ai, this is what I most hate in London...the weather!

They say tomorrow we will have 29C...Doubtful, very doubtful!!

We found it and it felt so good!!

Me and my amazing boyfriend on saturday decided to go and try a Lisboa patisserie (57 Golborne Road, London) in the heart of trendy London! yes, we did find a place where you can find all portuguese cakes (pastel de nata, guardanapos, broa de mel, everything you can think of), juices Compal :) and the good coffee Sical! :)

Can't describe how happy I was feeling...but the best was yet to come... While eating a pastel de nata and drinking a "bica" I look and in front what do I find??? A proper portuguese mini market! with everything!

So as a good imigrant, i brought home, beers both super bock and sagres, ham (presunto), butter Mimosa, cod fish (bacalhau), Compal juices, mini toasts, marmelade, rissois de camarao, and so many other things, next weekend I will be going again, with bigger bags!
It made my day!


I got to tell you, when I was there, I didn't use to care about OUR things that much, but after being here for 5 years seeing our products felt like Xmas!

I love london...at 7am!

London is (so they say) an amazing city and granted that it is quite cool! definetely allows you to do whatever you want to do, cause no matter what you want to do, London will have that for you...
But I have to say that I only love London at 7 am...when the sidewalks are empty, when there's a place to sit in the tube, when there are not 1million people walking towards you, I love it at 7 am because one can really appreciate how pretty London can be!
I came to work today at such an hour (I know I must be crazy!!!) and it felt better than when I come at 9...
London is very pretty when there is no people around, when you can walk at your own speed instead of the speed of the crowd...

for all this reasons...I LOVE LONDON but only at 7AM!

Londres é (assim dizem) uma cidade incrível e consegue ser mesmo muito fixe! definitivamente, permite fazer tudo o que se quiser fazer, porque não importa o que quiseres fazer, Londres tem essa opcao!
Mas eu tenho que dizer que eu só gosto de Londres às 7 da manhã ... quando as calçadas estão vazias, quando há um lugar para me sentar no metro, quando não há 1 milhão de pessoas a caminhar na minha direcção, eu gosto de Londres às 7 da manhã porque se pode realmente apreciar o quão bonita Londres pode ser!
hoje vim trabalhar assim cedinho (eu sei que devo estar louca!) mas acreditem ou nao senti-me melhor do que quando chego às 9 ...
Londres é muito bonita assim vazia, quando posso andar ao meu próprio ritmo em vez de ter que andar a velocidade da multidão ...

Por todas estas razões ... Eu amo Londres, mas apenas as 7:00!
